Free participation—not gambling

Universal Oracle is designed for free account participation, using free season points. No cash or Fan Credit commitments and no purchased prediction advantage. Subscriptions support local stories; they do not buy Oracle points or improve rankings. The new season design and calculator below show how it will work when prediction windows open.

NEW SEASON DESIGN

Start with 1,000 points. Make every prediction count.

When the new season opens, each eligible registered account starts with 1,000 free Oracle points, once for that season. Choose how many available points to commit. Correct predictions return those points plus a bonus. Incorrect predictions lose only the points you committed.

  1. Choose an approved contestant or category prediction before its closing time.
  2. Select one outcome or combine two or three outcomes in one prediction.
  3. Review the points committed and the fixed return shown before confirming. Combined predictions must meet every condition to win.
  4. Your committed points are locked until the official result. A void prediction returns them.
  5. Keep growing your season balance. With zero available points and no pending predictions, you are eliminated for that season. Locked points can still return; zero available points alone does not eliminate you.

Themba advances AND receives a judges’ score of 5 AND gets a golden buzzer60%160 points

For the three-condition example: you commit 100 points in total, not 100 per condition. If any condition is wrong, you lose 100 points in total. If all are correct, 160 points return: your 100 plus 60 gained.

Try the season points calculator

Practice calculation only. It does not submit a prediction or change your account. The new season balance system is not active yet.

Bonus = floor(committed points × bonus percentage ÷ 100). Total return = committed points + bonus. No streak or perfect-round point bonuses, purchased top-ups, cash commitments or Fan Credit commitments. Oracle points remain separate from Opportunity Points and your wallet. A subscription does not improve your prediction return or ranking.

Simple rules: questions and answers
Do I receive points every time I sign in?
No. The 1,000-point allocation is once per eligible account per season, not per visit or viewing profile.
Can I predict Dance will win, or a specific contestant?
Yes, when an approved question offers that choice. Judge scores and golden buzzers need published, objectively verifiable conditions.
Can I choose a larger bonus myself?
The calculator lets you explore examples. Actual questions will display their fixed return before opening; users cannot set their own scoring rate.
What happens to a combined prediction?
Every selected condition must be correct. One wrong condition loses the one total commitment. An unresolved or cancelled condition is handled by the published void rules.
Does a larger commitment give a larger reward?
Yes. At 10%, 100 returns 110 and 200 returns 220. The larger commitment also means more points are lost if incorrect.
How does the leaderboard work?
The new season design ranks eligible accounts by their remaining season points, including points temporarily locked in pending predictions. Final rankings follow settlement, verification and published tie-break rules.
Are prizes active?
No. Proposed subscriber prize milestones require secured funding, published rules and active subscribers verified over two consecutive months. One million active subscribers is the proposed R10 million ultimate tier.
