Abram Booysen · Founder & CEO

Why Universe X was built

Abram Booysen founded Universe X around a practical concern: talented people are often discovered, celebrated and then left without a pathway. Universe X connects the excitement of competition to learning, work exposure, mentorship, verified progress and relevant opportunities.

His leadership approach combines commercial discipline with community purpose. The aim is not to promise success; it is to build fair, governed systems through which people can develop, prove progress and become more opportunity-ready.

  • More than two decades of banking, customer service, branch operations and local-market leadership experience.
  • A career journey spanning frontline service, administration, branch control, branch management and local-market leadership.
  • Practical understanding of how institutions, communities, young people and businesses can create value together.

The leadership mandate

Protect the purpose, build credible partnerships, separate proposals from confirmed work and keep participant development at the centre.

The long-term vision

Prove the model in North West, expand responsibly across South Africa and explore African growth only where evidence, readiness and local approval support it.
